*Seasonique Diaries*

The details below might seem of TMI, however, I wanted to share my experience with other females that might be going through the same thing or might be thinking about getting on the pill and are not sure.  I am in no way bad mouthing the company, just sharing my own personal experience with this product.  I've read other reviews of females giving their opinions, some were positive, some were negative, but I can only speak from my own.

For those who are not familiar with "Seasonique", below I included a short description.
  • Seasonique is a Birth Control pill that allows you to have your period 4 times a year instead of 12.
I started taking Seasonique on December 26, 2010, which it was the Sunday after I was done with my cycle.  The first three days on Week 1 everything was good, which I did not experience any side effects other than light spotting.  I was told that the spotting is normal since the body is getting used to the hormonal changes.  After those days, I started having mild to medium cramps that lasted about 30 seconds every 10 minutes or so.
I called the doctor and was told that it was normal since due to the hormones I was going to experience different type of side effects as like with any other birth control pill.  So I kept taking them and dealing with the side effects.

On Week 2: things got worse, the cramps were heavier, the mood swings were out of this world (honestly I would've told myself off), everything bothered me, I felt heavier and bloated.  This lasted for Week 2 and 3.

Called the Doctor's office Twice at this point to inquire since I was concerned since the side effects were still present.  Was told that as with this and any other birth control my body is getting used to it, etc etc etc... the same information received before and I decided to still take them.
My Side Effects:
Spotting - Light and Heavy
Nauseous
Mood Swings
Cramps
Cravings

Now on Week 4, I am still spotting a bit, however, I feel A LOT better today.  The mood swings are gone for the time being (knocking on wood).  Pretty much at this point the side effects are not present and I'm so glad.  Now I would love the spotting to be gone, but I'm in the "Let's see when the hormones finish their party".  For now, no other complaints.  I am just waiting on the full effect to see if this really works.
Has anyone experienced the same or similar issues?

*Ivanka Trump's Shoes*

Like most women, I love a well designed pair of shoes.  However, some "designers" are probably thinking about money and sales, instead of What Women Really Want?

I just finished browsing Ivanka Trump's collection which I found that some were elegant, but a bit over priced.  These are not heels that I can wear on a regular basis.  Since I have not seen one personally, I cannot judge on the quality at the moment.

I did expect her to come out with CLASSY heels like these since when I see her, I see elegance, class, beauty, etc.  My question is, what was she thinking when she came out with replicas of other shoes that are in the market at a lower price.
There is too much competition out there and similar heels at an affordable price.  I don't know if this was a smart move of hers to get into the Shoe business, however, I wish her the best with her collection. (all pics from Goggle)

I have a similar pair, I paid way less.

All them jewels make the heel look cheap.

Dislike pointy shoes with a passion.

Every other designer has this same shoe in different colors.

*Size Does Matter!!!*

Imagine getting to the mall, you walk by a shoes store, the display mannequin is wearing a gorgeous pair of heels, to find out that they do not offer a 5? or even a size 11?.
That's to scream!!! (exaggerating, but you get my point).
I am a size 6.5 or 7 and at times I find myself not finding my size.  If is a pair of heels that I know I must have, I go as far as making the sales person call another store to check if they have my size. I know; "What a B*? (whispers), but A Shoe Lover must go to extremes to get what they want... :-).

On the other hand, I hear the usual, "I wish I had small feet like you" or "I have tiny feet, where am I going to find a pair of club shoes"...

They offer Pumps for a size 4.5 to 16.
I could not believe a shoe that small or even as big as a size 16.  Now there's not excuses for those females with this problem.

You can actually, dance the night away...

*Just Fabulous December Selection*

I decided to give Just Fabulous a chance and for a change placed an order online instead of going to the Macy's shoe dept (love it).  I received my selection yesterday which I am already familiar of their neat and nice packaging and also fast shipment since my friend is a regular customer.

I finally tried them on today and they are comfortable, look really nice on my feet and do not look cheap.  My biggest fear is for a shoe to look cheap, I mean $39.95 can get you a pretty decent pair, but in reality there are some expensive shoes that look cheap.  I am pleased with my purchase and will remain a customer.
